Japanese PM Arrives in Cambodia for ASEAN Summit

PHNOM PENH: The Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, and his wife, arrived in Cambodia on Saturday morning, 12 November 2022, to attend the 25th ASEAN-Japan Summit and related summits.

The agenda for today’s Summit activities includes the 19th ASEAN-India Summit to Commemorate the 30th Anniversary of ASEAN-India Dialogue Relations, the 2nd ASEAN-Australia Summit, the 25th ASEAN-Japan Summit, the 10th ASEAN-US Summit, and the ASEAN-Canada Commemorative Summit. 

After the meetings conclude, all leaders will join a Gala Dinner hosted by Prime Minister Hun Sen. It is likely that the leaders will wear traditional Khmer clothing.
